Thanks to Actors Touring Company Creating Ground members joined with Women for Refugee Women, All Change Arts and Woolwich Common Community Centre to produce the performance Bodies of Water, which Channel 4 featured here.

Laura Awarded Honorary Doctor of Arts

On Thursday 18th July 2024 our Director,

Laura Marziale, was awarded the degree of Honorary Doctor of Arts from the University of Greenwich for her contribution to public service in the Greenwich community.

International Women's Day 2023

Royal Borough of Greenwich gave us the opportunity to host an event celebrating International Women’s Day at the Woolwich Front Room.

We were thrilled to have Leader of the Council, Anthony Okereke and other Greenwich councillors come along to our event, contributing to a communal art piece, featured in Greenwich Info.

Our Founder and Director, Laura Marziale, was featured as one of 16 incredible women working locally to end violence against women and girls in Greenwich Info.

Best Organising Institution

Thanks South London Citizens for awarding us Best Organising Institution of 2020. So proud to have achieved it in our first year of organising, thanks to the support of all the Greenwich Citizens members and our organiser at the time, Paulina, we managed to keep focused. Thank you Citizens UK for showing us the way.

Culture Seeds Award

We are immensely proud to have received the Culture Seeds award for Community Creator in May 2019 from the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan for our Building Bridges project.
